From Salt Lake City, Kolo uses expressionist visual arts as a calculated release of frustration. His work carries a brand of contained excitement and with disparate sources carefully drawing from traditional Polynesian and Italian artistry.

From the Artist..I often have trouble with words. I am not often poetic or precise and to speak is to translate my thought. To use my hands is to communicate without censor. I display my works with foggy expressionism in tattooing and painting to survey the perception of things I have to say.
